Labor
Skilled bench time to diagnose, repair, calibrate and test your deck.
Professional tape decks are getting harder to replace, but many can still be repaired.
Our technicians have more than a decade of experience servicing this equipment. Every job starts with a bench diagnostic so we can identify the fault, confirm parts availability, and quote the repair before any further work begins.
Tell us the model, the symptoms, and how the deck is used in your workflow. We'll confirm whether we support that model and send shipping instructions.
Every repair starts with a $95 bench diagnostic. Your technician identifies the fault, checks parts availability, and recommends a repair.
You receive the repair scope and price before we go further. Nothing beyond the diagnostic happens without your approval.
Once you approve, we complete the repair and run playback, transport and functional tests before the deck ships back.

Billed separately, because availability and cost vary widely by model. Rare or high-cost parts may need a deposit before we order them.
You cover inbound and return shipping unless your agreement says otherwise. Please pack decks securely and insure them in transit.
If we find another problem during the repair, work stops and you get a revised quote before any extra charges.
After diagnosis, we'll tell you plainly whether a repair makes economic sense. If the cost outweighs the condition or value of the machine, you'll hear it from us before you spend more.
When repair doesn't add up, a VCR Supply rental deck can keep your queue moving instead.
