The JVC SR-VS30U is a professional dual-format deck with a MiniDV transport and an S-VHS transport in one chassis, with FireWire and S-Video outputs for capture. VCR Supply rents refurbished, inspected SR-VS30U units from $99 per month and repairs customer-owned units.
The dual-deck design covers MiniDV camcorder tapes and S-VHS or VHS tapes from the same bench position. For a small or growing digitization line, that is often the difference between taking a job and turning it away.
We replace worn belts and pinch rollers, clean and align the heads, and run test tapes through both transports. Units are limited, so tell us your queue and we will match you with the right one.

Yes. The DV side outputs over IEEE 1394 (FireWire), which is the cleanest way to capture MiniDV as native DV files. The S-VHS side outputs S-Video and composite for analog capture.
Yes. The S-VHS transport plays standard VHS tapes as well as S-VHS, so it doubles as a VHS deck for most transfer work.
A tested, serviced unit, power cable, routine wear coverage and swap-in support if a major repair takes the deck offline. Capture hardware and cables beyond the deck are not included.
